Stick with me, let’s talk about economics in simple terms. We all know “who” it is, but few of us really know it:

Economics isn’t just about money or business; it’s the language of public policy, of public life, and also the language that shapes the way we think. It defines how resources are allocated, distributed and used, from our homes and communities to society as a whole.

And, as the sociologist Karl Mannheim once said:

“Every point of view is specific to its social situation” 👀

The way we perceive the economy shapes the socio-economic models under which we live today.
